The Piccadilly Sinfonietta play Vivaldi's Four Seasons in Sherborne Abbey on the first evening of December.
The Piccadilly Sinfonietta open December in the abbey with Vivaldi's Four Seasons, still the most familiar music ever written and still worth hearing played live.
The abbey does a great deal for a string ensemble, and this is the first of the town's Christmas-season concerts.
Listing via Sherborne Abbey. Always check times and prices with the organiser before travelling.
