Imogen Corrigan explains the angels in churches and cathedrals, at the Arts Society Sherborne lecture.
Imogen Corrigan explores the angels that fill churches and cathedrals, asking where they come from, what their roles are and how the traditional hierarchy of nine orders fits in. She also looks at how angels are depicted, including whether they are male or female and when they came to have wings. Held at Digby Hall as part of the Arts Society Sherborne lecture series, with sessions at 3pm and 7pm.
Listing via The Arts Society Sherborne. Always check times and prices with the organiser before travelling.
