The Wheelwrights Arms is a pub and guesthouse in the village of Monkton Combe, about eight minutes' drive from central Bath. It came under new ownership in 2025 and was refurbished, with a new team and seasonal menu. The guesthouse has seven en suite bedrooms.
The kitchen makes as much as it can in house, from sourdough to brown sauce, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday lunch, with pizza on the lunch and dinner menus. West Country beers and ciders are served at the bar, and the pub sells its own sourdough loaves to order.
It is open every day, with breakfast from 8am to 10.30am, lunch from 12pm to 3pm and dinner from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, and there is a beer garden.
