The Udder Farm Shop and Restaurant sits on Manor Farm on the edge of the Blackmore Vale, run by the Down family who have farmed in Gillingham since 1938. The shop has its own butchery counter, a deli, fresh fruit and veg, and gifts and homewares from local makers, with the farm's own sheep and cattle visible from the site. Alongside the shop is a restaurant, coffee shop and bar serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, plus Udder Nights on Friday and Saturday evenings with fish and chips, burgers, curries and pizza. A children's play area makes it an easy half-day out for families.
