A community owned organic farm at Chew Magna, overlooking Chew Valley Lake, with a Saturday morning veg shed selling its own produce.
The Community Farm is a certified organic farm and social enterprise at Chew Magna, south of Bristol, owned and governed by more than 500 local shareholder members since 2010. It grows fruit and vegetables on 10 acres overlooking Chew Valley Lake, supplying an organic veg box scheme, farmers markets and wholesale customers as well as its own farm shop, the Veg Shed, which opens on Saturday mornings. Profits fund learning experiences for children, adults and vulnerable people, and the farm runs regular seasonal events, courses and workshops throughout the year, from scything to willow weaving.
