The Red Lion Freehouse is an 18th century country pub and restaurant in East Chisenbury, in the Vale of Pewsey, family owned and run since 2008. It was awarded a Michelin star in 2013 and holds three AA Rosettes. The kitchen serves an a la carte menu, a daily five course set menu and bar snacks, with local hand-pulled beer and cider, cocktails and wines.
The pub runs supper clubs and private dining, and its Troutbeck Guesthouse nearby has five rooms overlooking the River Avon, some of them dog friendly.
Lunch is served Wednesday to Saturday and dinner Wednesday to Saturday evenings; the bar opens from 11am. It is closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
