Organic farm shop just outside Langport, run by the Walrond family, with its own cafe and around 70 vegetable varieties grown on site each year.
Pitney Farm Shop is based at Glebe Farm on Woodbirds Hill Lane, just outside Langport, run by the Walrond family who have farmed in the area for over 200 years and switched to organic methods in 1999. The shop sells organic beef, lamb and pork reared on the farm, including lamb from their own ewe flock and pork from Saddleback sows, plus around 70 varieties of organic vegetables grown across the year. The Pitney Farm Cafe uses the farm's own organic meat, eggs and vegetables in dishes made from scratch.
