A thousand year old working watermill between Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth, with its own bakery, farm shop, gallery and restaurant.
Otterton Mill is a working watermill on the River Otter, sited between Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth. The mill still grinds flour, which goes into bread baked fresh in the on site bakery seven days a week. The attached farm shop and deli sells that bread alongside local and regional produce, and there's a gallery of work from local artists and craftspeople. The mill workings are free to view, with a self guided tour explaining how the wheel and stones work.
