Bookbag opened in 2020 in McCoys Arcade in Exeter's West Quarter. It stocks fiction, non-fiction, children's books, nature writing, art titles, poetry and zines, with a focus on writers of colour, women's voices, LGBTQ+ authors and independent publishers.
The shop runs author events, book launches and poetry nights, and co-produces the Echoes festival. It also sells book subscriptions, gift cards and stationery.
The nearest car park is Cathedral and Quay.
