Warminster's illuminated carnival procession brings floats, majorettes, dancers and marching bands through the town centre.
The procession assembles on Boreham Road and sets off at 6.45pm, moving through East Street, the Market Place, High Street, George Street and Silver Street before finishing outside Warminster School in Church Street. It is organised by the Warminster Carnival Committee as part of the Wessex Grand Prix carnival circuit, with the committee fundraising for most of the year beforehand. Donations are collected along the route by float collectors and the committee chairperson, with funds raised used to keep the carnival running and to support local charities.
Listing via Carnival committee's own website. Always check times and prices with the organiser before travelling.
