An evening of short new plays read script in hand, with the audience voting for its favourites.
An evening of short new plays performed with scripts in hand, so writers can hear how an audience responds. Up to six pieces of no more than 15 minutes are chosen, and the audience votes for Best New Writing and Standout Actor Performance. A development award can help one writer turn their script into a full length play. This is the adult session in the arts centre theatre, with a separate youth afternoon session earlier that day.
Listing via Shaftesbury Arts Centre. Always check times and prices with the organiser before travelling.
