Taunton Carnival

Taunton Carnival is an illuminated procession held annually on the third Saturday in October, run by Taunton and District Carnival Committee Limited, a company limited by guarantee. The parade of illuminated floats, walking entries and bands has historically started from Tangier Way and moved along Wood Street, Bridge Street, North Street, Fore Street and East Street before finishing on Chritchard Way, though entrants should check the committee's own route confirmation nearer the date. The carnival raises money for local charities and organisations along the route.
