A 16-mile sponsored walk along the coast path from Clovelly to Appledore lifeboat station, with a medal and a barbecue at the finish.
This charity walk follows 16 miles of the South West Coast Path from Clovelly to Appledore Lifeboat Station, which usually takes around five hours. Walkers get an RNLI cap and wristband at the start and a commemorative medal at the finish, where there is a free barbecue. There are marshals, water and first aid along the way, and transport back to Clovelly is available.
The money raised goes to the RNLI and Appledore Lifeboat; last time more than 100 walkers raised £7,500. It is open to anyone aged 13 or over, and under 18s must walk with a registered adult. It starts from the Bay Tree Cafe at Clovelly Visitor Centre at 9am.
