A free seated concert turning new Dorset poetry into songs for voice and piano.
Dorset poets wrote short poems, then worked with composers Sadie Harrison and Marc Yeats and singers Jessica Summers and Ed Bersey to shape them into solo vocal lines. The evening also includes two new piano song cycles drawn from Marc Yeats' Collected Poems Volume 1, with pianist Tomas Klement and sound artist David Rogers adding soundscapes. Entry is free and the concert is seated. Doors open at 6.30pm for the 7pm start.
Listing via Dorchester Arts. Always check times and prices with the organiser before travelling.
