Planet Purbeck's Discovery Fest is a free day on Shore Road, on Swanage seafront, celebrating the area's community, coast and countryside. Community and environmental groups run stalls with information and hands-on activities for families, and there is live music from local performers.
It runs from 10am to 3pm. Before it starts, at 8am, there is a yoga session on Swanage beach for £5, with the money going to Planet Purbeck. It is part of a wider weekend that ends with the Purbeck Marathon on the Sunday.
