A lantern parade down Broad Street leads to the Lyme Regis Christmas lights switch on at 5pm.
The Lyme Regis Christmas Lights Committee holds the town's switch on on Saturday 21 November 2026. A free Christmas lantern workshop runs at 2pm at Pine Hall, Lyme Regis Baptist Church, with all materials provided, and lantern judging follows at 4pm with prizes for several age categories. The lantern parade goes down Broad Street from around 5pm, with the Lyme Regis Majorettes and Lyme Morris performing before the lights go on. Santa arrives on his sleigh to lead the countdown to the switch on. The organiser says the lights will sparkle until the first week of January.
Listing via Lyme Regis Christmas Lights Committee. Always check times and prices with the organiser before travelling.
