An evening carnival procession of illuminated floats, walking entries and carnival groups through the streets of Launceston.
Launceston Carnival is a long running autumn tradition organised by the town's volunteer carnival committee, with backing from Launceston Town Council and Launceston Rotary. Floats and walking entries assemble at Newport Industrial Estate, are judged, and then process from there through Prouts Corner and into the town square as the evening darkens, accompanied by music and lights. It is one of the last remaining town centre carnivals in this part of Cornwall and draws crowds along the whole route. No 2026 charity beneficiary had been published at the time of research.
Listing via Carnival committee's own website. Always check times and prices with the organiser before travelling.
