North Devon Sinfonia's proms night under the Pannier Market roof, from Pirates of the Caribbean to Jerusalem, on carnival eve.
North Devon Sinfonia fill Barnstaple Pannier Market for their own Last Night of the Proms, the evening before the town's carnival. The programme runs from Zimmer's Pirates of the Caribbean and Strauss's Blue Danube to Wicked, with singers joining for songs from The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables, and builds to Elgar's Nimrod and Pomp and Circumstance and Parry's Jerusalem.
It starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £12 for adults and £5 for children, online or from the Pannier Market office. The market is not heated, so wrap up warm.
