World premiere of a play about Frederick Densham, the eccentric rector of this Bodmin Moor parish, staged in his own church.
Frederick Densham was the eccentric rector of St Neot, a remote Bodmin Moor village, from 1931 until his death in 1953. This new play, having its world premiere in his own church, imagines his meeting with a young American journalist from Life magazine, and what happens when their two worlds collide.
It draws on accounts by Daphne du Maurier. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets are £15, plus a £1.50 fee if you book online, and the church has full disabled access.
