An illuminated carnival procession through Honiton, the final date on the East Devon Carnival Circuit for the year.
Honiton Carnival is the closing procession of the East Devon Carnival Circuit, taking place on Saturday 24 October at 7.30pm. The route begins at Ottery Moor Lane, runs along the High Street and finishes at Pottery Close. It is organised by the Honiton Carnival committee, which runs two illuminated carnivals a year, one in October and a smaller Christmas carnival in December, to raise money for local groups. Funds raised have previously gone to local causes including Honiton's Admiral Nurse, the FORCE cancer charity, Devon Freewheelers and various local youth groups.
