An illuminated carnival procession through Burnham on Sea and Highbridge, part of the Somerset Guy Fawkes carnival circuit.
The Highbridge and Burnham on Sea Carnival is an illuminated procession organised by the local carnival committee, chaired by Kim Cassell. The route starts at the traffic lights on Love Lane beside Tesco, then runs along Love Lane to the Esso filling station, Manor Road, Victoria Street, High Street and Marine Drive, finishing at the entrance to Haven Holiday Village. It is one of the towns on the Somerset County Guy Fawkes Carnival circuit and collections are taken along the route for local causes. A separate seafront fireworks display is held earlier in the week.
