Pipeline Theatre's bittersweet village-fete comedy: two first-aiders, a Lebanese drag queen booked for the raffle, and some wasps. Ages 14+.
It is fete day, and George and Maddy are on first-aid duty. Then Eliana Sultana arrives, a Lebanese drag queen hired to draw the raffle, and it turns out the three of them are more connected than anyone expected. Add an allergic reaction to a wasp sting and the afternoon goes somewhere nobody planned.
Pipeline Theatre's comedy mixes the epic and the outlandish with the everyday and the plainly silly. It is recommended for ages 14 and over. It comes to Grampound Village Hall through Carn to Cove, the night after playing Trevow Chapel in Helston.
