The Ranagri flautist tours her first solo album, weaving flutes, bansuri, electronics and spoken word.
Eliza Marshall is a flautist and a co-founder of the folk band Ranagri. Her playing has featured with Peter Gabriel's New Blood Orchestra and on Disney's Mufasa, and she has worked with Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. Eternal Birth is her first solo album, a personal record about cycles of life, legacy and our connection to the natural world.
On stage she uses flutes, whistles, bansuri, electronics and spoken word, drawing on folk, classical and world music. The show starts at 7.30pm in the Barrel House Ballroom on Totnes High Street, and tickets are £16.50.
