Bristol's record-breaking improvised soap opera: one continuous story, made up live, one episode every other Monday. Ages 14+.
Closer Each Day is a soap opera that nobody has written. The same cast of improvisers pick up the story where they left it and make up the next episode in front of you, with characters, feuds and cliffhangers that carry on from one show to the next. It has been running for years and holds a record as the longest-running improvised soap, which has made it a Bristol institution and something of a signature for The Wardrobe Theatre.
You do not need to have seen the earlier episodes: each one is built to make sense on the night. Episodes are every other Monday at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £14, or £8 for Patreon supporters. It is recommended for ages 14 and up.
Listing via The Wardrobe Theatre. Always check times and prices with the organiser before travelling.
