An illuminated carnival procession through Budleigh Salterton as part of the East Devon Carnival Circuit.
Budleigh Salterton Carnival is part of the East Devon Carnival Circuit, an annual run of illuminated processions across the district each autumn. Entertainment and a food court open from 6pm at SeaChange on East Budleigh Road before the procession sets off at 7.30pm, travelling along Coastguard Road, Coastguard Hill and Marine Parade, then through Fore Street, High Street and Station Road, finishing at Upper Stoneborough Lane. The carnival was restarted in 2016 by a small group of volunteers and is now run by the Budleigh Salterton Carnival committee, which is always looking for new members.
