Bridgwater's Guy Fawkes Carnival is a large illuminated procession through the town on the first Saturday of November.
Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival takes place on the first Saturday in November each year and is organised by Bridgwater Carnival Ltd. The carnival's own website describes it as one of the largest illuminated carnival processions in Europe and as the UK's oldest carnival. Illuminated carts, walking entries and marching bands process through the town centre in the evening, with collectors gathering donations along the route to support the carnival and local good causes.
