The Chalice Well Trust marks the autumn equinox, the point of balance as the days shorten, with a day in its gardens from 11am to 7pm, as the leaves turn gold and russet.
Tickets are booked through Chalice Well's website. The same morning, a sunrise ceremony for the equinox is held on Glastonbury Tor, and on 29 September Chalice Well holds a Day of Silence for Michaelmas.
